Wall Preview AR — Help
Everything below comes from setting the app up on a real store. If your question isn’t here, write to yzsyazilim@gmail.com — a person answers.
Setup
The “See it on your wall” button doesn’t appear on my product page
Three things have to be true, and this is the order to check them in:
- The theme block is added. Installing the app does not place the button by itself. Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize, open a product page, press Add block and pick Wall preview. Save.
- The variant has a confirmed size. Open the app and look at the Sizes section. Anything listed there is still waiting on you.
- The model is built. The app shows “N models ready” at the top. A size that was confirmed a moment ago may still be building.
Do I need to edit my theme code?
No. The app installs as a theme block, which you add and remove from the theme editor. Nothing is written into your theme files, and removing the app leaves no leftover code.
It works on one variant but not another
Each size is a separate model. If
Medium works and Large doesn’t, the Large size is probably still waiting in the Sizes section, or your plan’s model quota is full.Sizes
How does the app know how big my artwork is?
It reads your variant names.
50x70 cm, 24" x 36", A3, Ø60 and many other spellings are understood, including sizes buried in longer names like Natural Wood / 30x40 cm.Why is it asking me to confirm 24x36?
Because that size has numbers but no unit, and the difference matters: 24×36 inches is 61 × 91.4 cm, while 24×36 centimetres is a quarter of that. We guess from your store’s country and then ask you, rather than acting on the guess.
If your whole catalogue uses the same unit, the Confirm all button answers every pending size at once.

My sizes are called Small, Medium and Large
Tell the app what they mean once. In the Sizes section, enter the width and height for each name and save. Every product using that name opens up immediately, and any product you add later is understood without asking.
A size was read wrong. Can I correct it?
Yes — press Change on that row in the Sizes section and enter the real measurements. Your correction is never overwritten by a later scan.
Careful with the unit selector
The width and height boxes have a unit next to them, and it starts on whatever your store’s country suggests. If you type centimetres while it says
in, the artwork comes out two and a half times too big.Phones and AR
Which phones can see the artwork on a wall?
Android: Chrome on devices that support Google’s AR services — most phones sold in the last few years.
iPhone and iPad: Safari, using Apple’s Quick Look.
Desktop: no camera placement, but the artwork can be turned and inspected in 3D.

Does the shopper need to install anything?
No. It runs in the phone’s browser.
The artwork drifts on the wall
Point the camera at the floor first and then sweep up to the wall before placing. A blank, evenly lit wall gives the phone very little to track; sweeping first gives it reference points. Once placed, the piece is anchored and should stay put as you walk around it.
Plans and billing
What counts as a model?
One artwork in one size. A product with three sizes uses three models.
What happens when I reach my quota?
Models you already built stay online and keep working. New sizes are not built until you upgrade. Nothing disappears from your storefront.
How am I charged?
Through Shopify. The charge appears on your regular Shopify invoice — we never see your card. Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial.
What happens if I cancel?
You go back to the Free plan. The models you already built stay online, so your storefront doesn’t break — only new ones stop being built.
What happens if I uninstall the app?
Your data stays for 48 hours in case you reinstall, then Shopify asks us to erase it and we delete everything, including the generated model files.
